Don't worry if your kids' scooter isn't the same brand as the accessory you wish to purchase. Simply ensure they're the same size as your existing wheels. Which one is right for me?

There are a wide range of wheels available, here are some important things to keep in mind when choosing yours.

• Money - You don't want to spend more than is necessary, however the quality of a product can be discerned by the cost. The higher the cost, the better quality you are likely to get.
• Skill Level - All are suitable for beginners and recreational riders, but for anyone more experienced in extreme sports or park riding, you would get the most out of purchasing a higher end plastic core or any metal core wheel.
• Size - As standard, most scooters come with 100mm wheels for a low, stable centre of gravity. Some pro models do come standard with 110mm and larger folding scooters may come with wheels as large as 150mm. To simplify the purchasing process, we recommend that you stay with the same size provided from the manufacturer.
• Hardness of Wheels - Wheel hardness is measured in durometers. Lower numbers indicate a softer wheel and higher numbers indicate a harder wheel. Durometer is denoted by the suffix "A" (example - 82A). The typical Scooter wheel is 82A. The hardness of Scooter wheels are most suited to indoor riding and outdoor, providing they are used on a smooth surface.
