The GAIN Protection MVP Knee Pads are the younger, motivated sibling of the Shield PRO Knee Pads, offering a similarly robust construction at a more affordable price point. Designed for riders who are serious about their progression but may be on a tighter budget, the MVPs deliver excellent performance without breaking the bank.
Crafted from strong Cordura material, the base and bottom of the MVP provide impressive durability. The top features breathable AirMesh fabric, ensuring ample ventilation while maintaining a stylish appearance. The foam insert in the MVP matches the thickness of the Shield PRO's insert and is shaped to hug the knee comfortably, although it does not include the additional anti-shock layer found in the higher-end model.
These pads are designed as slip-ons, eliminating the need for velcro-tailed flaps on the back. Instead, they utilize a Sharkskin gripper inside, ensuring a secure fit during use. Remarkably, the MVP knee pads come with replaceable plastic caps—an uncommon feature in this price range. Riders can also opt for stylish Swirl caps, allowing for personalization while ensuring the longevity of the product. When the time comes for new caps, simply replace them without needing a whole new set of pads.
